Solidarity trips> The main stay

The trip with AINA MADAGASCAR is always divided in two parts :

The first part of the stay, travelers will spend few days in an isolated village (Ankarefo or Beravina); they will share their everyday life, exchange their knowledge with locals, they may usually get involve in health giving hands in health care center in the village or reinforce kids’ education from the village by teaching them at the primary public school of the village

The second part of the stay will be on the road trip around Madagascar, discovering its scenery, its culture, its fauna and flora, the accommodation will be with the host families network all around the island ( Antananarivo, Antsirabe, Fianarantsoa, Manakara, Sainte Marie…) or hotels with our escort tour guide,

 

1st part :
Travelers will stay in our villages (Beravina and/or Ankarefo) for a while (depending on the duration of their stay)
Ankarefo village: Connect with local community, experience the warmth and friendship of local people, positive exchange between travelers and locals. You’ll become a part of local community, (learn percussion, go for fishing with the locals, go to the rice field, and experience the warmth of a Malagasy home, sharing everyday life in a Malagasy way and philosophy …); Accommodation will be at the villagers’ houses

Beravina Village: Teaching volunteering at the community school built by Aina Madagascar at the village. TEFL, TESOL and teaching experience are not needed. Only a good standard of English is necessary. Travelers will take part in teaching Beravina kids with our local teachers (Basic English, Art, and Music, World geography …) to give kids new ideas and open children's mind to new cultures

2nd part :
Not only will the travelers discover the island and its outstanding beauties (Fauna & Flora, Diversity in scenery, Beaches, Biodiversity, Lemurs …) but also they will always be in touch with our host families.

 

Travelers will feel welcome and families are looking forward to sharing their customs, exchanging cultures, way of thinking, and learning about the country where the travelers are from.

 

Escorted tour guide: They are member of Aina Madagascar team and with travelers during their trips and stays in villages.

 

They are the link between host families and villagers to ease the integration to the local communities.
